It doesnt matter if its an EVGA, XFX, BFG, ASUS, GIGABYTE, PALIT, MSI, ZOTAC, SPARKLE, GALAXY, PNY, etc. As long as its an Nvidia based card, EVGA Precision will work with it.

If you see my card, Its an XFX Geforce GTX 295, and it still works. Give it a try. Its a great tool for the GPU.

And there is also RivaTunerv2.24c if you want to try that out.

How could I forget good ol' Rivatuner. One of the best out there.

Doc, is that the new version of RivaTuner?

I believe so...I'm going to try it out later on this evening and I'll let you know how it is.

ah, i didnt know i could use the EVGA tool to OC, i had also forgotten about Rivatuner.

I thought that the latest driver from nvidia blocked the card in overclocking completely.

-- Can RivaTuner still open Pipelines on Grapicards? i remember opening 2 additional Pipelines on my (very) old GeForce 6800 - Now, I'm using 9800GT SLi.
(abit off-topic i suppose, my bad).

The newest version of the EVGA tool fixed the issue with the latest Nvidia driver. You can OC with it.

system restore or uninstall the driver, boot into safe mode, use driversweeper, reboot back into windows install the old drivers that was stable for you.

btw, a question on this as i have not have had any problems with newer gpu drivers and never had to roll back. When you use driversweeper in safe mode, do you need to clean out the newer physx (if it was provided with the new driver) or can you keep the new physx with an older driver?

The new drivers do not keep or prevent you from adjusting the case leds. System Tools is what controls the case lights through Nvidia Control Panel. Most likely you will need to download ESA Performance Tools from Nvidia then agree and activate that part of the software. Only download version 6.03, as it is the most stable.
